This is a medium size chickpea, light cream color with a very wrinkled skin. Its tasty is very soft and its skin maintains quite fine when cooked. Its qualities becomes highly valued for the costumers. The consumption of this legume is highly recommended for their high nutritional value. They are rich in proteins, minerals, iron and fiber and contain less saturated fat. It is ideal for winter dishes, and also for cold salads with vegetables. This variety is well known for its mild flavor and uniform cooking. It is advisable to keep these chickpeas to soak at least 8 hours before cooking.
